Services Offerings

Improvement in corporate governance has led many corporations and government agencies to undertake voluntary commitments to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases.

While these commitments take many forms, it is difficult to completely eliminate your carbon footprint. Many are offsetting their carbon emissions by financing the reduction of carbon emissions elsewhere, a viable strategy considering the global impact of greenhouse gases.

Offsets, or voluntary emission reductions (VERs), are created when an entity undertakes actions to create verified GHG reductions. The resulting credits can be sold to entities to meet their voluntary commitments. Offset procurement often comes with specific credit criteria (location, type, etc.) and with cost-efficiency goals. We can help your organization formulate a comprehensive offset program and source cost-effective supply to meet these goals.

We offer a complete package of support for organizations looking to take responsibility for their carbon emissions and become Carbon Neutral.

Are you in one of the following industries?

Contact us today and we can share knowledge in efforts to reduce global warming.
While giving your organization the ability to generate revenue from carbon credits

Agricultural Farming
Agricultural Farming

N2O is 300 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Our technologies and consulting services track the emission of N2O. Platinum Star can assist in protocols that will help you maintain, or in some instances, increase crop yield and generating verified carbon offsets = cash.

Concrete
Concrete

Is responsible for 8% of the emissions contributing to global warming. We provide patent pending technologies and processes for reducing your footprint, and generating carbon credits. Contact us for more details.

Ranching
Ranching

Reducing your GHG emissions can produce valuable carbon offsets. Platinum Star can track and verify those reductions.

The United Nations' Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) calculated that between 2005 and 2015, the dairy cattle industry's greenhouse gas emissions increased by 18% as demand for milk grows.

These gases – mainly methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) – are produced at different stages of dairy farming. Methane, the most potent of these greenhouse gases, is first produced as the cow digests its food. Then, as the manure is managed on the farm, CO2 as well as N2O are also emitted.

Manufacturing

Almost a quarter (23 percent) of U.S. GHG emissions come directly from industrial sources, such as manufacturing, food processing, mining, and construction. These direct emissions result from diverse processes, including the on-site combustion of fossil fuels for heat and power, non-energy use of fossil fuels, and chemical processes used in iron, steel, and cement production. Offsetting your GHG emissions, shows your commitment to improving the environment.

Entertainment
Entertainment

Blockbuster films with budgets of over $70m produce an average of 2,840 tons of CO2 per production, – a figure equivalent to the amount absorbed by 3,700 acres of forest in one year. Offsetting the considerable carbon footprint due to greenhouse gases emitted from travel to sets around the world, generators, and intense set lighting.

Transportation
Transportation

Carbon offsets serve as a funding source to incentivize fleet renewal programs, where freight operators are paid to decommission high-emissions vehicles and utilize greener options.

Extraction
Extraction and Waste Management

The extraction and processing of natural resources (biomass, fossil fuels, metals, and non-metallic minerals) make up half of the global greenhouse gas emissions while contributing to more than 90% of global diversity loss and water stress impacts.

Reclamation

Creation and acquisition of cost effective and verifiable Carbon Offsets.

Investing in a progressive carbon offset project, can demonstrate your commitment to non-carbon environmental targets as well as greenhouse gas emissions reduction. A carbon offset reforestation project adds to the planet’s net carbon storage and helps moderate global warming by slowing the growth of carbon emissions in the atmosphere.
